Karnataka CM laid the foundation stone for the international cricket stadium in Tumkur

The long-standing demand to build an international cricket stadium in the district headquarters of Tumkur in Karnataka has finally been fulfilled. To this end, land has been allotted to the Karnataka State Cricket Association from the Karnataka Industrial Areas Development Board (KIDAB). A total of 41 acres of land has been allocated for the construction of the stadium. In this context, Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah laid the foundation stone for the construction of a cricket stadium in Tumkur this morning. The stadium, which will be built on a total of 41 acres, is targeted to be completed in two years. It is estimated that a total cost of Rs. 150 crore will be spent for this. Once the stadium is completed, international cricket matches will be held here.
