Chennai to Mysore high speed bullet train via chittoor

The long awaited bullet train of the people of Chittoor and Vellore will be available to the people of Chittoor and Vellore within a few months. Stations will be constructed for this bullet train at 189 Kothapalli, Kolar, Kodahalli, Whitefield, Byapanahalli, Electronic City, Kingeri, Mandya, Mysore near Chittoor. Steps will also be taken for construction of 11.8 km underground in Palamaneru in Chittoor district.

Construction of 435 km special track..

The Railway Department has decided to run a bullet train from Chennai in Tamil Nadu to Mysore in Karnataka via Andhra Pradesh. To this end, preparations are being made to construct a 435 km special track. Besides, steps are being taken to establish a 362 km corridor. Officials of NHNRCL (National Highway Speed ​​Corporation Limited) have already conducted a thorough survey on this. Running at a speed of 350 km per hour, this bullet train has to go entirely on the track laid on the flyover. In this order, for the construction of this track with a width of 18 meters in 41 villages in the district, plans have been prepared to hold meetings with the farmers in the respective collectorates in three states and give them four times compensation for the land collected from them. Besides, all kinds of surveys and fixing of lineaments have also been completed in this regard.

Actions by authorities for land acquisition

The officials have prepared a detailed project report (DPR) to continue the movement of this bullet train across 340 villages connecting the three states of Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka. It usually takes about ten hours to travel from Chennai to Mysore by train. In the same bullet train, the destination can be reached in just two or three hours. Residents of Chittoor Vellore city are expressing the opinion that if this train is set up at 189 Kothapalli in Gudipala mandal under the name of Chittoor, it will be used to the expected extent.
