Ap government canceled these land allotments in vizag
The State Council of Ministers has given its approval revoking the order issued by the previous government to donate 15 acres of government land in survey numbers 102, 102/2 & 103 to Sri Sharada Peetha in Pendurthi, Visakhapatnam district.
15 acres worth of land was given to Sarada Peetha in the previous government. The actual value of these lands is Rs. 225 crores.. but the previous government released several GOs in November 2021 that they are giving Rs. 15 lakhs per acre.
He along with his successor Swatmanandendra wrote a letter to the former CM that their intention was to use those lands to increase the income of the Peetha. They also asked for allotment of land for commercial and residential areas on the sea coast. But it was written in that GO that it was for the spread of Vedic education and Peetham activities..So the government canceled these land allotments
