Andhra Pradesh has been given priority in the 2025-26 financial budget. Several allocations have been made, including Rs. 5,936 crore for the Polavaram project, Rs. 3,295 crore for Visakhapatnam Steel, and Rs. 730 crore for Visakhapatnam Port.
Already in the last budget, the Center has provided funds in the budget for the construction of the capital, construction of Polavaram, a special package for backward districts, the development of Visakhapatnam-Chennai Industrial Corridor, Kopparthi, and Orvakal industrial centers. Apart from these, it has already provided support for many projects including the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, Nakkapalli Bulk Drug Park, Green Hydrogen Hub, BPCL Refinery, and Railway Zone.
