Bengaluru Airport City Limited (BACL) has commenced construction of a 2 million sq ft Business Park on the Kempegowda International Airport campus, spread across 17.7 acres.
The project is part of Karnataka’s new Global Capability Centres (GCC) policy (2024-2029), aiming to position Bengaluru as a global hub for GCCs and generate 3.5 lakh jobs, contributing USD 50 billion to the state’s economy.
The mixed-use destination will include business parks, R&D hubs, and entertainment options. Future plans for the airport city include the development of India’s first concert arena within an airport ecosystem and a convention centre, with connectivity enhanced by the upcoming Airport West metro station.
